Parcheesi:
ORIGIN:
Parcheesi is a game originated in the sixteenth century in India. The star-shaped current board is only a representation of the original that was none other than the garden of the Emperor Akbar the Great. The center of the board represents the throne where the emperor was placed in the center of the courtyard. For its part, the chips were the most beautiful Indian girls who moved from square to square and contended for the honor to play for the emperor. The dice that decided the fate of the participants consisted of cowries, shells of mollusks that were worth a point if they fell with the hole facing up.
The name comes from the word ludo pacis, which means twenty-five in Indian because twenty-five were the shells that were thrown in each series.

El Gòtic, also known as Barri Gòtic ('Gothic Quarter' in Catalan; Spanish: Barrio Gótico) is the centre of the old city of Barcelona. It stretches from La Rambla to Via Laietana, and from the Mediterranean seafront to Ronda de Sant Pere.
Despite several changes undergone in the 19th and early 20th century, many of the buildings date from Medieval times, some from as far back as the Roman settlement of Barcelona. Remains of the squared Roman Wall can be seen around Tapineria and Sots-Tinent Navarro to the north, Avinguda de la Catedral and Plaça Nova to the west and Carrer de la Palla to the south. El Call, the medieval Jewish quarter, is located within this area too.
The Barri Gòtic retains a labyrinthine street plan, with many small streets opening out into squares. Most of the quarter is closed to regular traffic although open to service vehicles and taxis. More in http://www.bcninternet.com/barcelona.php

TIPS: SIGHTSEEING IN BARCELONA
Montserrat is a mountain where there is a basilica and the Moreneta virgin. There is also a restaurant and a hotel there. In order to arrive you must take the cog railway or a car.
It is also interesting to stroll down Las Ramblas in Barcelona. Nearby there is Paseo de Gracia and Plaza Cataluña, a famous street and square. At the end of Las Ramblas you can find a street called Paseo de Colon and the harbour . It is also important to notice Barceloneta's neighbourhood which is famous for its restaurants specialized in seafood.
Another beautiful and interesting place to visit for its architecture and environment is Gaudi's famous Park Güell.

Sant Boi

SANT BOI
Sant Boi is a very nice city, near to
Many years ago, St Boi was a town where people only worked in factories or farming.
Now St Boi is bigger than the old Sant Boi, there are many people working in shops, restaurants, or another places. Now there are more buildings, there are flats, houses, huge houses, and there are too many people. Sant Boi, now, is starting to be a big city.
As there are many people, there aren't many parking slots, and we need more green areas. Down town is busy. There is a hospital and several free education schools. But there are also private education institutions and a public hospital too.
Sant Boi has three important mountains/hills, and one of this, has a little church in the top of mountain. This mountain is called "St.Ramon".
In Sant Boi there is a discothèque; bars, and places for dancing, but there isn't any cinema, or bowling. Young people must travel for going to the cinema or bowling. But there are green areas, parks, and places for enjoy all people. There are many parks, but the biggest and best is
You can arrived by train, bus or car. It ´s easy go to nearby towns, because ST.Boi has a good public transport network. It only hasn’t got a subway, but is planned to build an underground station in 2020
